DTS Advantage: Mercury’s DTS (Digital Throttle and Shift) brings out the best from the outboard and takes your boat performance to the next level. It enables an instant throttle response, precise handling & control, minimum or no lag, and smooth acceleration. Unlike the mechanical cable, the electronic throttle control in DTS passes the commands through the boat motor’s computer via sensors and wires. This arrangement makes the throttle control easy & quick. Also, the steady, digital throttle control enables better fuel efficiency.
The Mercury 200XL DTS SeaPro has a Conventional MidSection (CMS), 3.4L V6 cylinder head with 209 CID displacement, an electric start system, and a speed of 4600-5400 RPM at full throttle. This engine also boasts EFI (Electronic Fuel Injection) computer-controlled system that enables advanced range optimization for better fuel delivery and allows you to travel more distance with less fuel.
